We are proud to announce that during 2007, Casio Education and The Baker Centre will continue to work together and will offer two FREE professional development programs: MATHS@10 and GMAT. Please read the details of each program below.

MATHS@10

Are you interested to know how to introduce electronic technology into the teaching and learning of Year 10 Mathematics?

MATHS@10 offers extensive support in approaching the teaching and learning of Year 10 mathematics assuming students have access to graphic calculator technology.

The MATHS@10 program will be presented by Anthony Harradine and will commence in Term 1, 2007. There will be one MATHS@10 session for each of term 1, 2 & 3. Each session will run for the whole day and cover a unit of work from the year 10 NSW Syllabus. For your convenience, sessions will be held at four different Sydney metro locations to be advised. This will hopefully allow your school to attend a MATHS@10 session nearby.

GMAT

Have you wondered how you might go about introducing electronic technology into the teaching of Year 11 and 12 General Mathematics?

Have you wondered how you might get started using Graphics Calculator technology in your teaching?

If your answers to the above questions are yes, then the GMAT program aims to support you in beginning this journey.

The GMAT program will commence in Term 1, 2007. There will be two GMAT sessions for each of term 1, 2 & 3. Each session will run for approximately 2-3 hours and cover a separate General Mathematics topic. For your convenience, sessions will be held at nine different Sydney metro host school locations to be advised. This will hopefully allow your school to attend a GMAT session close by.
